THE DEATH OF SUPERMAN RETURNS THE VIDEO GAME

Save a few mobile games like 2013’s Man of Steel, there hasn’t been a big-budget console Superman game since the 2006 tie-in game to Bryan Singer’s Superman Returns. Freelance writer Matt Paprocki just had a story published on Polygon about the troubled development of the last Superman game and having read it, you’ll sadly understand why no one has gotten a game starring the Man of Steel in over a decade, and it’s not just because of the God-like power of the title character. Even with nigh-invulnerability, heat and x-ray vision and the power of flight can topple a Warner Bros. executive who feels that Superman’s package is “a little to big”.
