Night Dive Studios remaster of the classic N64 first-person shooter from Acclaim, Turok: Dinosaur Hunter, arrived on PC late last year with a remaster of its sequel, Turok 2: Seeds of Evil on its way. If, like me, you enjoyed playing Turok on a console, you’re in luck, at least if you’re an Xbox One owner. Night Dive announced that both remasters are headed to the Xbox One with all the new features added in the remastered game on PC with added Xbox Achievements. While Microsoft’s competitor platform the PlayStation 4 isn’t in the cards right now, Night Dive did state that they’re “…evaluating other platforms but can’t confirm at this time,”. Hopefully that means that PS4 owners like myself can play these soon.
Turok is a stone cold classic, one of my all time faves. Definitely picking this up

I finished literally all the Turok games last year and the original holds up better than all of them. I hope they both come to PS4; I don’t own an Xbox One.

Basically Ark Evolved ripped off the idea recently, in their day they were revolutionary as they blended FPS and platforming mechanics
