Last year developer Telltale (Back to the Future, Jurassic Park) announced they were working on a videogame adaptation of the the Walking Dead with series creator Robert Kirkman. Recently there have been new screens and details about that game released to the internet.
First off, the game will thankfully be set in the universe of the comics as opposed to the tv series. The main character of the game won’t be any of the series regular, but instead will be Lee Everett, an escaped convict who will eventually meet up with a seven year old girl named Clementine and together they will have to escape the zombie infested world that millions have grown attached to.
Though the main character isn’t Rick Grimes, that doesn’t mean that other characters from the series will not show up. Noticeably in one screenshot you can see long time series survivor Glenn.
For those looking for more information on the development process of the game, Telltale has also launched a web-series called “Playing Dead” narrated by AJ LoCascio (voice of Marty McFly in Back to the Future). The show will feature appearances from the dev team and Robert Kirkman himself.
